I, Francis P. Allen, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship "West Point" whereof I am Master, from Liverpool.

pg 8 of the manifest, sideways, in the Died on Voyage column.
I, Francis P. Allen, master of Ship West Point do solemnly, truly swear that all the
passengers on this list marked infants are under twelve months of age. So help me God.

Portions of the right side of the manifest (lower half pg 8 and upper half pg 9) were

A reference was made on the last page of the manifest to 2 babies born on board, but
only psgr #29 was positively identified as having been born on the passage.
15 Most of first name is illegible because of tear in paper, probably Sarah.
28 Notation in Died on Voyage column - "gave birth to an infant on the passage". See
psgr. #29.
29 Surname could be Norton; no other information provided.
33 2nd letter of surname not clear, could be Shasse, Skasse, or Strasse.
36 Last number in year of death illegible, probably 51.
54 6th letter of surname not clear, could be "e" or "c" but using either of these
letters would give a surname of Borneeck or Bornecck.
93 Destination entered as "Germany U States".
160 Destination entered as "Brazils & England".
176 Destination entered as "Ireland & U. States".
188-192 This is probably one family traveling together, surname could be McCormack or
McCormick for all.
201 Middle letter of surname not clear, could be Dorod or Dosod.
241 Sex should be Female.
287 Notation written after surname "alias Denis".
340 Occupation is probably Labourer.
375 Right side of paper torn off, rest of word(s) not available.
