Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transcriber,
or is used to call your attention to additional information in the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to
the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
* Passengers where numbered by the transcribers for ease of referencing.
* the sworn statement is at the end of the passenger list.
* this manifest has most passengers twice. The first 5 pages seem to be the departure
list, the last page is the arrival list. The first passengers are in the same order on
both lists. All passengers that did not board the ship (lined out on the first pages)
would not be on the arrival list. The exception to this are the Barker family and the Burke
family, they were moved around on the ship and appear in the departure list twice.
22 - 24: the missing letter in the last name could be r or s for Bagdarimi or Bagdasimi.
43 - 46: Irish is crossed out, USA written above it.
60: "died & Buried at Sea" is written at the end of the line, all information is lined out,
no date is given.
61: Swedish is crossed out and replaced by USA.
77: the last name could be Lundberg or Sundberg.
83: the last name could be Lund or Sund.
92 & 93: only the last 2 letters of the first name can be read due to a damaged manifest.
95: the last name could be Loirel or Loisel.
129: occupation has been transcribed as written.
