Transcription Notes:

The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to the
 quality of original document.

* Three columns left off as all coming from Belfast Ireland, all going to United States,
  and no deaths

* The first page of the manifest 1 through 38 lists Labourer for the first passenger and
then a line is drawn all the way down the column

* Manifest writer was not consistent with filling in gender and occupation with ditto marks.
Many times left blank, but indication was that those listed below were possibly the same
  occupation

* Captain signed his name differently also. He used McMillan at beginning of manifest and
the last page after the passenger count was determined, he signed James M Millan (no Mc)

14 First name may be James, there is a crease in manifest at this point
38 The first name William was crossed out and Robert inserted. Unable to read age
47-50 This last name is commonly seen as Maharry and is a variant of MacCarry used in Ulster,
     may also be spelled Meherry
63 First name either Mary or Margt, very dark
97 Last name may be McGarty
119 Last name could be McGreevy
139 Writer may have forgotten the "Mc" and name should be McLorrinan as with entries above it
154 This is exactly how it is shown on manifest gender not specific as usual line drawn down
column, name is either James Dergan or Jane Dergan
156 Ink smudged, first name may be Mary
