Transcriber's Notes:

The column, "Date and Cause of Death" was eliminated from this transcription; however,
there was one death, that of 6-months old Friedrika Dettmann, passener #97. There is
no other information, except the notation "died". The lister did not always use a ditto to
indicate the space occupied during the voyage. Probably it was the same as the above entry.
The Country from which the passengers came - generally the lister wrote "Germany" and then
a more specific area of Germany. The transcriber has eliminated this word "Germany" and just
listed the area from which the passenger came in the interests of space.

The original lister numbered the passengers.

An asterisk (*) is used to refer to an item in the transcriber's notes, which
further explains the entry.

A question mark (?) is used for letter/letters that cannot be read because of the quality of
the document. Where possible a suggestion is given in the Transcriber's Notes of what the
letter/letters may be.

A circumflex (^) is used to indicate missing letters in a name or word. The original lister
showed this by writing the final letter smaller and raising it above the line.

  3-6 Umlaut "u".
  9 Umlaut "o".
22 The missing letter could be an "r", "n". The letter seems to be on the line,
although there is a small downward slash, but not extended enough to be a "y" or
"g", most likely. Reisnerfried, Reisnenfried. Is he a Saddler by profession?
 59 Umlaut over "o".
67 Inadvertently listed as a male.
73 The word "citizen" is written in the column "Country in which they intend to
       become inhabitants".
 75 & 76 Umlaut over "u".
107 Unlaut "a". It is assumed that this passenger is going to Michigan.
111 It is assumed that this is the surname for the passenger, but there is no given
       name recorded.
