Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

There is reason to believe that the recorder might have Americanized some of the
passenger's German given names, for example substituting "Henry" for Heinrich, "Fr",
"Fred" or "Frederick" for Friedrich, "John" for Johann, "Margaret" for Marguerite or
  Margarethe, "William" for Wilhelm, etc.

The recorder did not consistently use ditto marks to indicate "same as above". Many
Occupation, Last Dwelling Place and Destination entries are left blank by the recorder
and the reader is confronted with the problem of interpreting the recorder's intended
meaning. It was common for recorders not to make an entry in the Occupation column for
female passengers or for children. The transcription contains entries in the Occupation,
Last Dweling Place and Destination columns only if the recorder entered them or wrote
ditto marks to indicate "same as above". A possible though not a certain interpretation
of the intended Occupation, Last dwelling Place or Destination where the recorder left it
blank is that of the last adult male entered above.

1 Surname appears to be either "Schultius" or "Schultins". Occupation is recorded
as "Privet", likely intending "Private", meaning he did not wish to disclose
        his Occupation.
30-32 It is not clear from the manifest if these three passengers are also from "Lorbede"
and going to "Cincinnati" as is passenger number 29 above because the spaces for
entries are blank and no ditto marks are evident. See Transcriber's Notes above.
33 Surname appears to be either "Albrink" or "Albeink". Destination is not recorded.
40 There is an umlaut above the "o" in surname "Volker".
43 There is an umlaut above the "o" in surname "Tolke".
44 There is an umlaut above the second "o" in surname "Fomole".
45 Surname appears to be either "Morhamp" or "Morkamp".
50 Surname is possibly "Bedeher", "Bodeher" or "Bodeker" with an umlaut above the "o".
59 There appears to be an umlaut above the "a" in surname "Bahr".
70-71 Surname is recorded as "Kaldemeyer", but might possibly be "Kaldemeier".
75-78 Surname is recorded as "Kaldemeier", but might possibly be "Kaldemeyer".
82 Surname appears to be written as "Foeper", but might possibly be "Foesser".
83 There is an umlaut above the "u" in surname "Lucke".
123 Surname is possibly "Schlengher", "Schlengker", "Schlenzher" or "Schlenzker".
126 Passenger's Occupation is obscured by damage to the manifest and not visible.
129 There is an umlaut above the "o" in surname "Ostkokelmann" or "Osthokelmann".
130-136 Destination od this family appears to be written as "Gallina Missouri", likely
        intending "Galena, Missouri".
137-139 Surname is either "Johanna" or "Johanne".
140 Surname is either "Kuta" or "Kuter" with an umlaut above the "u".
165 Surname is either "Korte" or "Korta".
169 Entry in the Last Dwelling Place column is not carefully written and cannot
        be deciphered.
171 Surname appears to be either "Rose" or "Prose".
176 There is an umlaut above the "o" in surname "Torner".
