Ship Rappahannock
I, Wm Cushing Master of the Ship Rappah??????* do solemnly, sincerely and truly sw??? (illegible) that the following List or Manifest,subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at Lpool from which port said Ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the Voyage, and Space Occupied. The Destination for all passengers was recorded as "United States" and no deaths were recorded on the voyage; these columns have been omitted from this transcription.

? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of
the original document.
The transcription preserves the original spelling.
The manifest scribe did not number the passengers; the numbers have been added by the
transcriber to aid with referencing.
All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words
indicated.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading,
these have been transcribed to 'ss'.
A review of other voyages for the Rappahannock with this captain confirms
the spelling of the ship's name.

11 Surname could be Sampson or Simpson.
15 First name as recorded.
18 First name as recorded, could be miswritten Charles.
18-19 Surname could be Monan or Moran.
19 3rd letter of first name illegible because of ink blot,
could be Margaret.
21 Surname could be Gorel or Ford.
22 First name as recorded.
