Transcriber's Notes:

The column, "Date and Cause of Death" was eliminated from this transcription as there
were no deaths on this passage.

The original lister numbered the passengers, but mis-numbered them. The
transcriber has corrected this and numbered consecutively. It is presumed that the
Manifest is complete. Since it was after #13 that the original lister began numbering
at #1 again, Passenger #1-13 may be cabin passengers and #14-51 may be the steerage
passengers.

An asterisk (*) is used to refer to an item in the transcriber's notes, which
further explains the entry.

A question mark (?) is used for letter/letters that cannot be read because of the
quality of the document. Where possible a suggestion is given in the Transcriber's
Notes of what this letter/letters may be.

11&12 It is probable that Mons is an abbreviation for the title Monsieur.
15 This name is difficult to decipher. Possibilities: Crujhein, Creyhein, Cuyhein.
17&18 Surname: Schrick, Schuck
38-40 Surname: Maher, Mahen.
42 There is a strange symbol written after this name. It is an "X" with four dots in
it. This same symbol is repeated after the word "infant" for the Passenger #51,
who was born on the passage. Could it be that this is the mother?
43&44 Surname: Mugan, Mergan.
51 This infant has the same unusual symbol after it's name - an "X" with four dots
in it. The "dot" to the left appears to be somewhat outside the "X", but the
others are within it. The symbol is exactly the same for Passenger #42. What
appears before the word "infant" looks like the "and" symbol, which also appears
before the word "infant" for Passenger #48.
