Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
  numbered in the original manifest.

The entry "United States" in the native country and destination country columns
is shortened to "U. States" for formatting reasons. "Male" and "Female" in the
Sex column are shortened to "M" and "F" for the same reason.

2 Surname appears to be written as "Amberson", but might possibly be "Anderson".

42 Surname appears to be recorded as "Hays", but might possibly be "Hayes".
47 A notation associated with this passenger states that she had previously
         "Landed in N.Y., Ship E. C. Scrantion, 1855".
61 Surname appears to be written as "Fobab", but might possibly be "Folan".
63 Given name is either "Longall" or "Longell".
86 Surname is either "Ky" or "Ry".

117 Passenger has the masculine given name "John" and Occupation listed as
"Mechanic", yet Sex is recorded as "Female", likely a recording error.
