SS Ethiopia
I, James Craig, Master of the Steam-Ship Ethiopia, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said S.S. Ethiopia at Glasgow from which port said Vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

* An extra coloumn was added at the end. It either contained a year or "citizen".
It is not clear what the year represents, possibly an earlier arrival.
The transcribers searched for other trips, only a few were
found and put into the transcribers notes.
5: possibly June 1870 with the SS Australia or Sept. 1870 with the SS India.
19: possibly March 1853 with the SS Ohio.
26: the last name could be Malcolmson.
28: the last name could be Malcolm.
36: possibly in March 1864 with the SS Sidon.
90: possibly in August 1865 with the SS Scotland.
102: the last name could possibly be Quigley.
115 & 116: the last name could be Rundin.
131: possibly September 1871 on the SS Batavia.
133: it is not clear if there are ditto marks behind Hughes, this passenger's name
could be Wm. H. Hughes Munroe.
140: the last name could be Kirbis.
141 & 142: the last name could be Perzebitz.
170: possibly in March 1872 with the SS Anglia or in December 1872 with the SS Celtic.
175: the last name could be Shaud.
178 & 179: possibly in May 1864 with the SS Kedar.
193 - 195: the last name could be Lander.
247: the last name could be Rawcliffe.
250: the last name could be Milligen.
255: the last name could be Ylviseker.
256 & 257: the last name could be McMenamin.
256: the first name could be Daniel only, no middle initial.
