Steamer Corsica
I, Frederick Le Messurier, Master of the "Corsica", do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said Steamer at Havana from which Port the said Vessel has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage and the names and ages of those who died.
So help me God. (Signature) F. Le Messurier
Sworn to this 18th February 1867,

Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
numbered in the original manifest.
1 Letters of passenger's middle and surname are too small and indistinct to be
deciphered.
7 Surname appears to be either "Gowais" or "Gervais".
8 Surname appears to be written as "Goodsall", but might possibly be "Goodall".
11 Passenger's full Occupation is recorded as "Captain in the British Army".
12 A notation associated with this passenger states that "Mr Labelle Died 16 Feb'y".
13 Passenger's Occupation is a short statement which is too small to decipher.
14 Passenger's full Occupation is recorded as "Captain in the British Army".
22 Passenger's Occupation begins with "Ship" followed by four or five letters
which are not decipherable.
23 Passenger's Occupation as "Major U.S.A." likely implies that he is a Major in the
U.S. Army, but this would seem to conflict with "Gt Britain" being his country
of citizenship.
24 Surname is recorded as "Braid", but might possibly be "Baird".
25 Surname appears to be either "Mereuse" or "Merense".
