Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be
transcribed definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
"Male" and "Female" or "Masc" and "Fem" in the Sex column are shortened to
"M" and "F" for formating reasons.
6 Surname appears to be written as "Kumana", but might possibly be "Kumann".
7 Surname appears to be either "Bopert" or "Bofoert" or possibly "Bossert".
9 Surname is recorded as "Krafft", but might possibly be "Kraft".
10 Surname is recorded as "Homburger", but might possibly be "Hamburger".
13-14 A notation associated with either Passenger 13 or Passenger 14 states
he is a "Citizen", likely implying a U.S. citizen. The position of the
notation makes it impossible to determine to which of the two passengers
it is refering.
22 Surname is recorded as "Homburger", but might possibly be "Hamburger".
Passenger's Age appears to be either 20 or 29.
23 Passenger's Native Country is recorded as "Wurtberg", but might possibly
be "Wurtemberg".
50 A notation associated with this passsenger states that he is a "Citizen",
likely implying a U.S. citizen. Passenger's Age is possibly 20 or 30.
