SS City of Vera Cruz
I, John Deaken, Master of the Steamship City of Vera Cruz, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Vessel at Havana-Cuba from which port said Vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Coloumns represent: Names, age in years and months, sex, occupation, the country to which they severally belong, the country of which they intend to become inhabitants, *died on voyage, part of the vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage.

6: Surname may be Adie.
15: the last name could be Bereneth.
17: Given name may be Hamer.
18 Surname letters are too light to be read, the last 4 letters could be
ford, there are 3 or 4 letters in front.
25: Given name letters too light to be read. Surname may be Vogrich.
26 - 28: Surname may be Cortina.
52 - 54: the last name could be Marting.
55: the last name could be Criolla or Griolla.
56: a smudge makes the years of the age illegible.
60 & 61: the last name has an accent on the 2nd n.
72: the last name could be Cespedia or Cespedio.
74: the middle name could be Juelha.
80 & 81: Carbo has an accent on the o.
86: the last name could be Prespo or Grespo.
88: the last name could be Schin or Schiro.
89 - 92: the occupation is very faint, it could possibly be cooper.
