I, James Donaldson, Master of the Steamship United Kingdom, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said S.S. United Kingdom at Glasgow from which Port the said Steamer has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage and the names and ages of those who died.

The entry "United States" in the native country and destination country columns
is shortened to "U. States" for formatting reasons.
11 Surname is recorded as "Blyth", but mightpossibly be "Blythe".
14 Surname is recorded as "Burnes", but might possibly be "Byrnes" or "Burns".
18 Surname is recorded as "Paterson", but might possibly be "Patterson".
20 Passenger is a female yet Occupation is recorded as "Laborer", a very
unusual occupation for a mother with children, perhaps a recording error.
25-36 The Ages of these passengers are not recorded.
45-46 Surname is either "Catheart" or "Cathcart".
63 Surname is recorded as "Rielly", but might possibly be "Reilly".
75 Surname appears to be written as "Larigan" or "Langan", but might possibly
be "Largan" or "Lanigan".
90-91 Surname appears to be either "Salmon" or "Sulmon", but might possibly be
"Salomon".
