Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
"Male" and "Female" in the Sex column are shortened to "M" and "F" for formatting
reasons.
The recorder of the manifest often abbreviates a passenger's Occupation, such as
"Mer", "Merch" or "Mercht" for "Merchant", "Ch" for Child, "Spin" for Spinster,
"Gent" for Gentleman and "Ser^t" for Servant.
44 Surname is possibly "Serwonit", "Sirwonet", "Sernonit" or "Sirnonet".
46 Surname is recorded as "Bernheimr", likely intending either "Bernheim"
or "Bernheimer".
76 Passenger's Age is not recorded.
82 Surname is either "Ettard" or "Etterd".
83 Surname appears to be written as "Lervis", but might possibly be "Lewis".
84 Passenger's name is preceeded by "Miss" implying a female passenger, yet Sex
is listed as "Male" and Occupation "Gent", likely a recording error.
84-85 Passengers' Ages are not recorded.
92-94 Surname is recorded as "Curroll", but might possibly be "Carroll".
96 Passenger's title is "General" and his Sex is recorded as "Male", yet his
Occupation is listed as "Matron", likely a recording error.
99 Surname is either "Roott" or "Rooth".
102 Surname is recorded as "Cockran", but might possibly be "Cockrane".
116 Passenger's Age and Occupation are not recorded.
117 Surname appears to be either "Schleiman" or "Schluman".
121 Lines are drawn through this passenger's name and no associated information
is recorded. This normally indicates that the passenger was not aboard
when the ship embarked.
128-129 Family surname is recorded both as "McMeasny" and "Measny".
131 Surname appears to be written as "Fuldarton", but might possibly be "Fullerton".
131-132 Passengers' Ages are not recorded.
136 Although there is no indication of ditto marks, passenger's surname might
possibly be "Bergman".
137-138 Passengers' Ages are not recorded.
182-185 Passengers' Ages are not recorded.
185 Surname is recorded as "Manion", but might possibly be "Mannion".
