Transcriber's Notes:

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transcriber,
or is used to call your attention to additional information in the transcriber's notes.

? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the
manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.

^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.

* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.

* Passengers where numbered by the transcriber for ease of referencing.

* The last digit of the arrival year is hard to read, it could be 6 or 4. This manifest
is with the ships arriving June 1876 on the NARA films.

* San Juan P. Rico could be San Juan in Porto (Puerto) Rico.

1: this passenger has a squiggle line in the "died on the voyage" coloumn. It is
not clear if this is a sloppy no (none died) or what it means. The person writing
the manifest was very good with ditto marks otherwise. This passenger might have died.
