Bark Providence

DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, S Dunaziere, Master of the Bark Providence, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said Bark at Antwerp, from which port said Bark has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each passenger, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

supposedly 98 PASSENGERS Only 97 are listed so assume the 98th
passengers was lost at the damaged section around passenger 8-9

 1 thru 40---Gender unknown but thought to be all Male.
 7 Thru 40---Cannot make out Age because of damage vertically.
 7-8-9-10---Horizontal damage has obliterated much information.
40---No first name or initial given.
44 thru 89---Country of origin not given.
45---Last name was probably Maier like Passenger #44
90---Occupation (Charron) unknown.
91 thru 97---Origin unknown.
97---Occupation (Boulanger) unknown.
