The remainder of the list is not available for some unknown reason. Possibly it was destroyed inadvertently, or it is filed elsewhere in the National Archives. There is a note recorded at the top of the list "82 Aliens", so we can be sure that ship carried more passengers, probably about 1200. Should the remainder of the list become available at some later time, it will be added to these pages. The columns, "Date and Cause of Death" and "Transient, In Transient or intending protracted sojourn" were elminated from this transcription as there were no deaths recorded on this brief list and there was no indication of the indication of a protracted sojourn or not. The original lister numbered the passengers. The original lister recorded the names as given name and then surname; the transcriber has reversed this order for ease in alphabetizing and reference. This Manifest has been creased and is worn away at the fold lines, which unfortunately are mostly along the Age column, so many of the ages are not able to be read. A question mark (?) is used for letter/letters that cannot be read because of the quality of the document. Where possible a suggestion is given in the Transcriber's Notes of what this letter/letters may be. An asterisk (*) is used to refer to an item in the transcriber's notes, which further explains the entry. A circumflex (^) is used to indicate missing letters in a name. The original lister showed this by writing the final letter smaller and raising it above the line. 5 Surname: Pott or Patt. 42 Surname: Sprandel, Spraudel.
