Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
in the transcriber's notes.
Above the sworn statement is written "138 Aliens".
Wherever there is a ? in the age, it is where a dark crease ran down the list and some or all
of the age could not be read.
"wf" is consistantly the abbreviation for wife.
Wherever "family" is written for calling of several persons, it is written on the diagonal
across these lines.
Some of the intended destinations were written as "U.S.A." and some were spelled out as "United
States of America". I left them all as "U.S.A." to save space.
Scotland was consistantly spelled with two t's.
Above the location or compartment (Room) column was written "Main Steerage". This seems to
apply to passengers 1 through 115.
Wherever there is a ? in the Room or Cabin number, it is where a dark crease ran down the list
and it could not be read.
3 - An umlaut is over the u in Gruger.
9 - Possibly Mierland instead of Mierlaud.
10 - Possibly Mierland instead of Mierlaud.
11 - Possibly Mierland instead of Mierlaud.
12 - Possibly Mierland instead of Mierlaud.
13 - Possibly Mierland instead of Mierlaud.
16 - Age is 4 months.
18 - "Polen" is probably Poland.
19 - An umlaut is over the o in Moller.
21 - Can't read letter in name.
29 - "Tayler" probably should be tailor.
34 - After Finland, "Russia" was written and crossed out.
50 - Can't read last letters in name.
57 - Age is 10 months.
87 - Can't read last letters in name due to dark crease. Name is possibly Carroll or Carroth.
88 - Can't read name due to dark crease. First name possibly ends in l or t. Surname looks
like it starts with T??p, F??p or L??p.
95 - Age is 2 months.
104 - Age is 1 month.
111 - Age is 11 months.
126 - Age is 1 year 6 months.
127 - Age is 7 months.
129 - An umlaut is over the o in Sjogren.
151 - Mrs. Hill is mistakenly listed as a male.
