Ship Mary Bradford
I, J B Thompson Master of the Ship Mary Bradford do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at London from which port said Ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

List or Manifest OF ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the Ship M Bradford whereof (omitted) is Master, from London burthen 801 tons.
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the Voyage, and Part of the Vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage. The Destination for all passengers was recorded as "United States" and no deaths were recorded on the voyage; these columns have been omitted from the transcription.

The day of arrival is not clear, could be 23 January 1859 or 25 January 1859. NARA has
assigned the arrival date of 23 January as The ship listed by NARA as having arrived 22 January
is listed sequentially (List No.) immediately preceding the Mary Bradford; the ship immediately
following arrived 24 January 1859.
3 Age not clear, could be 7y or 8y.
17 Age omitted.
20 First name could be Johannes.
23 First name, surname, and 2nd number of Age illegible because
of damage to manifest.
