Correspondence added 14 July 2008, passengers 145-150, BORBRIDGE
The Borbridge family of Amelia, Letitia, Henneretta, Mary Jane, Sarah and John
are ancestors of mine who are listed above as Agriculturists coming from Ireland and
heading toward "West Constant". These six members of the Borbridge family
(mother, son and 4 daughters) were joining other family members in Emmett,
Dodge County, Wisconsin. The 1850 Federal Census for Wisconsin shows the
complete family of nine--the six from the Juno plus the husband of the
immigrant mother and two additional sons. I have yet to find out when and how
the father and two sons got from Ireland to Wisconsin. Pat (Palmer) Metcalfe
