Transcriber's Notes:

This lister separated the people by status: single men and married person, saloon
passenger and even stowaways! At the end he listed a number of cattlemen who
were returning to the U.S., but did not list the columns completely. He did not
indicate the baggage they carried, or the place on board that they occupied.

The original lister numbered the first part of the list consecutively and then
listed the stowaways with no number and began numbering the married people at #1
and again numbered the cattlemen at begining with #1. The transcriber has listed
the numbers consecutively from #1 to the last passenger, #94.

The columns "Date and Cause of Death" and "Whether Visitors only or intending to
be permanent settlers" were eliminated since no one died on this voyage and all
were listed as intending to be permanent settlers. The lister used the
abbreviation "P'ment" to indicate their likelihood of becoming permanent
residents, but nothing was recorded for the cattlemen returning home.

The "Part of the ship occupied" was abbreviated by the transcriber; the lister
wrote: Starboard Aft or Portside Aft.

The figures listed at the end are immigration fees due the Port of Boston.
It is presumed that the abbreviation Bdg officer stands for boarding officer.
