DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, A. Barends, Master of the SS Gellert, do solemnly, sincerely and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said Steamship at Hamburg & Havre from which port said Steamship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

*  None died during the voyage, therefore this coloumn was eliminated.

6 - 11: Surnames may be Kleaver or Kluver with u Umlaut.
12: the last name could be Rambitzka.
13 & 14: Surnames may be Siena or Siewa.
19: Surname may be Yorfader or Gorfader.
21: Jurgens is spelled with u Umlaut.
24: Name may be Golhehe Baldauf.
26: Gunther is spelled with u Umlaut.
29: Surname may be Wazalitzten.
38: Surname may be Hirschfield or Hirschfeldt.
39: Moller is spelled with o Umlaut.
40: Surname may be Hinton.
47: Kranzlein is spelled with a Umlaut.
48: Name may be Fritz Dours or Fritz v. Deurs.
53: passenger died Dec. 23, 1875. The name is lined out.
