Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
numbered in the original manifest.
11 First part of surname is obscured by damage to the manifest and cannot be
deciphered. Name appears to have about five letters, the first two of
which are obscured, followed by a partially obscured letter which is
possibly an "n", followed by "ce".
16 Surname is possibly "Berkenstadt", "Birkenstadt", "Berkinstadt"
or "Birkinstadt".
29 Given name is either "Scherna" or "Scherva".
33 Surname is either "Sleddon" or "Sliddon".
36 Surname is recorded as "Gubbin" or "Gabbin", but might possibly be "Gubbins".
64 Surname begins with "McA" followed by one to three undecipherable letters
followed by "ley". Name is possibly "McAwley" or "McAughney".
97 Surname is possibly "Theck" or "Huck".
123 Surname is possibly "Kilhams", "Hilhams", "Kilhains" or "Hilhains".
132 Given name and Age are too faint to be deciphered.
