SS Deutschland
I, H J Neynaber Master of the SS Deutschland do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Steamer at Bremen from which port said Steamer has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of passengers who have died on said voyage, and the name and ages of those who died.

Bohmen has an umlauted "o."
Munchen, Thuringen, Wolffenbuttel & Wurtemberg all have umlauted "u's."
The writer of this list seems to be on a roll with ditto marks and thus
there are instances of seeming incorrect gender designations for some
entries.
From passenger number 430 on the numbering of the orginal lists continues
(erroneously) with passenger number 431. A captain's note at the end of
the list corrects the total number of passengers because of the list was
misnumbered. This web site list numbers the passengers in consecutive order,
thus correcting the original.

Hannover = more likely the state of Hannover, not the city.
