So help me God. (Signature) Antonio Sabins Goncalves

Sworn to this January (blank) 1868,

Transcriber's Notes:

The designation "Port Ship Deslumbrante" in the Captain's sworn statement at the
beginning of the manifest likely implies that the Ship Deslumbrante is of
  Portugese ownership or registry.

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
  numbered in the original manifest.

The entry "United States" in the native country and destination country columns
is shortened to "U. States" for formatting reasons. "Male" and "Female" in the
Sex column are shortened to "M" and "F" for the same reason.

1-4 Passengers' Occupation is listed as "Conductor of Animals".
2 Surname appears to be written as "Ginseppi", but might possibly be "Guiseppi".
4-5 Surname appears to be written as "Ginseppi", but might possibly be "Guiseppi".
