I, John F. French, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers , subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Cornelia of New York whereof I am Master, from Liverpool.So help me God.

11-24 All of these passengers were dittoed in the occupation column as being
mechanics, but as several of them were women and children, this transcriber
feels that this could have been a mistake on the part of the original scribe.
86 Occupation is probably Blacksmith.
118 Passenger definitely listed as female.
226 A sawyer is listed as someone who works in a lumber mill or pit,
or is a carpenter.
44,130,173,259,303,346,390,433: The X inscribed in the month column for these passengers
could mean that they were temporarily detained.
