below.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of the
original document.
^ The use of a ^ indicates that the letter/letters following are superscripted.
The transcription preserves the original spelling.
The manifest scribe did not number the passengers; the numbers have been added by the
transcriber.
All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have
been transcribed to 'ss'.
18 Sex omitted, Occupation written in this column; 1st word of Occupation not clear, could
be House Agent.
19 Occupation could be miswritten Seamstress.
68 Check mark written after Age.
76 Occupation could be miswritten Seamstress.

180 This passenger was listed at the end of the manifest, notation reads:
Constantine Jones, born Sept. 7^th, 1858 No. 3, Thomas Jones, father.
The transcriber believes the "No. 3" refers to this being the third child of
Thomas Jones (psgr. 58); psgrs 60 and 61 are probably the siblings of the newborn.
Passenger number has been added by the transcriber.
