Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
  numbered in the original manifest.

The recorder of the manifest often abbreviates given names by writing the first few
letters of the name, then skipping letters and then writing the final letter as
superscripted. In these cases, the transcriber uses the symbol (^) to indicate that
the following letter is superscripted, i.e., Tho^s for Thomas, Marg^t for Margaret,
W^m for William, etc. For other passengers he employs an abbreviated version of
their given name, such as "Chas" for Charles, "Jos" for Joseph, "Jno" for John,
"Geo" for George and "Jas" for James.

The entry "United States" in the native country and destination country columns
is shortened to "U. States" for formatting reasons.

2-4 Surname appears to be written as "Meehan", but might possibly be "Mechan".
13 Passenger's Age appears to be overwritten and is not decipherable.
15 Surname is recorded as "Welsh", but might possibly be "Welch" or "Walsh".
37 Surname is possibly "Orpen", "Orpeer" or "Orpur".
41 Surname is recorded as "McGiny", but might possibly be "McGinny" or "McGinney".
45 In numbering the passengers, the recorder inadvertantly skipped over
         the number 44.
46 Surname begins with "Mc" followed by an undecipherable letter followed by
"iner" or "iver". Name is possibly "McLiner", "McHiner" or maybe "McIver".
53 Passenger has the masculine given name "W^m" yet Sex is listed as "Female"
and Occupation "Matron", possibly a recording error.
63 In numbering the passengers, the recorder inadvertantly skipped over
         the number 62.
71 Surname appears to be written as "Benbour", but might possibly be "Burbour",
         "Bewbour" or "Berbour".
106 Surname is recorded as "Dollan", but might possibly be "Dolan" or "Dolin".
108 Surname is recorded as "McKeener", but might possibly be "McKennan" or "McKeenan".
160 Surname appears to be either "Loughney" or "Loughrey".
162 Surname is recorded as "Rielly", but might actually be "Reilly".
170-172 Surname is recorded as "Steedman", but might possibly be "Stedman".
176-177 Surname appears to be either "Kilboyne" or "Kilbogue".
177 Infant passenger has the feminine given name "Marg^t" and Sex is recorded as
"Female", yet Occupation is listed as "Son", likely a recording error.
181 Surname is recorded as "Burn", but might posssibly be "Burns" or "Byrne".
197 Surname is either "Allan" or "Allen".
