I, Frangeul, Master of the Canada, do solemnly, sincerely and truly certified that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said Canada at Havre from which port said Canada has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
None died on the voyage, therefore this coloumn was eliminated. A new coloumn was added on
the very right of the manifest, containing yes, no, oui, etc. There is no coloumn header, it
could be the answer to the question whether they have been in the United States before.
1: surname may be Dilmoriss. Verriere has an accent grave on the first e.
2: Accent mark (accent aigu) over the final "e" in Surname.
3: Renee has an accent aigu on the first e.
7: Francois is spelled with c cedille.
8 & 9: Surname may be Channe or Charanne.
14: There is a line drawn through much of this line partially obscurring the
information, surname may be Newbus. This passenger might not have boarded the ship.
16: the last name could be Braiel.
17: the last name could be Molinri or there might be an accent on the e, it is hard to
read.
23: the occupation means farmer.
23: Surname may be Madimer or Madinier.
29: a smudge is obscuring the age, the 2nd number cannot be read.
30: the last name could be Forbes.
31: Geneve has an accent aigu on the 2nd e.
32: the first name could be Firmino. The last name has an accent aigu on the e.
34: Besancon is spelled with c cedille.
38 & 39: the age is illegible due to the bad condition of the manifest.
41: the last name could be Delahourde.
44: the last name could be Andy.
49: Boucher is a butcher.
55: the first name could be Trinie.
56: the occupation is florist.
60: Francois is spelled with c Cedille.
63: Eugene has an accent on the 2nd e.
