DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Robert Leitch Master of the S. S. "City of Baltimore" do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York,is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said S S City of Baltimore at Liverpool from which port said SS City of Baltimore has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the Voyage, and Part of the Vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage. The destination for all passengers was "U S" and no deaths were recorded on this voyage; these columns have been omitted from the transciption.

The transcription preserves the original spelling.

The manifest scribe numbered the passengers. However, the scribe restarted with the number 1 
upon change in Space Occupied (see at psgr 115-116); the transcriber has continued the 
numbering sequentially.

All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated.

The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have
been transcribed to 'ss'.

 14 2nd letter of surname smudged, illegible.
 23 Superscripted letter in first name illegible, could be Ge^o.
 26 1st number of Age smeared, illegible.
 36 3rd and 4th letters of surname smeared, illegible.

 61-62 Occupation as written.
 64 Superscripted letter in first name illegible.
 66 First name illegible.
 68 5th letter of surname obscured by lower extension of letter 'z' in surname above.

129-135 Surname could be Parnelli.
