I, Thomas Greenland Master of the Ship A. Z. do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York,is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at Tralee Ireland from which port said ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

or is used to call your attention to additional information in the Transcriber's Notes below.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of the
original document.
The transcription preserves the original spelling.
The manifest has numerous ink blottings; extra research should be made to confirm findings.
The manifest scribe numbered the passengers; however the numbering was by groups traveling
together; the transcriber has numbered each passenger sequentially.
All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have been
transcribed to 'ss'.
Total passengers in the ship's recapitulation do not appear to include children under the age
of 6y.
5 7th and 8th letters not clear, looks like Moriartly, is probably Moriarity.
9-10 1st number of Age smeared, illegible.
29 Current spelling of destination is Penn Yan, NY.
32-34 3rd letter of surname not clear, could be Brennan or Brinnan; 1st number of berth
illegible.
35-37 2nd number of berth not clear, could be 80.
44-47 Destination Maine.
51-52 Destination Tennessee.
52-54 2nd number of berth not clear, could be 76.
66 1st letter of surname not clear, could be Rourke.
72 6th and 8th letters of surname not clear, probably O'Connoll.
