DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, R. H. Moore Master of the Ship Am^n Eagle do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at London from which port said Ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the Voyage, and Part of the Vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage. The Destination for all passengers was recorded as "New U.S."; one death was recorded and is included in the Transcriber's Notes below; these columns have been omitted from the transcription.

The transcription preserves the original spelling.

The handwriting of this manifest was poor; additional research should be undertaken 
to confirm findings.

The manifest scribe numbered the passengers.

All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words 
indicated.

The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, 
these have been transcribed to 'ss'.

 4 Last letter of surname illegible.
 5 Surname could be Bruner.
 9 Surname could be De Corte or De Coste.
10 Most of Occupation faded, illegible.
11-12 Surname could be Tongelan or Tonjelan; ending of first word of 
      Occupation faded, illegible.
15 2nd number of Age illegible.
16 Surname could be Pertrowsky or Pitrowsky.
19 Notation in Died on Voyage column: "15 March, Inflammation
   in the chest".
27 4th letter of surname illegible.
30 4th letter of surname illegible.
33 6th letter of surname illegible.
37 Occupation illegible.
