I, FO?orey* Master of the Ship Amazon do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York,is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at London from which port said Ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.So help me God.Sworn to this 6 September 1858*

The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of the original document. ^ The use of a ^ indicates that the letter/letters following are superscripted. The transcription preserves the original spelling. The manifest scribe did not number the passengers; the numbers have been added by the transcriber. All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated. The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have been transcribed to 'ss'. The arrival year for this voyage could be 1850. The captain's surname is illegible, could be Money, Moreny, or Corey. The manifest scribe discontinued recording Space Occupied after psgr #10. 24-28 4th letter of surname not clear, could be Palassin or Palussin. 36 5th and 6th letters of surname illegible, could be Severin. 37-38 Last letters of surname not clear, could be Bragatje.
