The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of the original document. The transcription preserves the original spelling. The manifest scribe did not number the passengers; the numbers have been added by the transcriber. All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated. Captain's surname not clear, could be Burke, Burken, Burker, or Burkes. The first letter of the word ?hip as written in the testimonial is missing/faded, probably Ship.
