Transcriber's Notes:
* Although the date of arrival at the Port of New York is not recorded on the
manifest, the manifest is preceded on the microfilm reel with a header which
states that the vessel arrived on 3 December 1867.
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
numbered in the original manifest.
The designation "Br Sch Trojan" in the Captain's sworn statement at the
beginning of the manifest likely implies that the Schooner Trojan is of
British ownership or registry.
4-6 Destination for Passengers 4, 5 and 6 is recorded as "No place in Particular".
4 Surname appears to be written as "McCarn", but might possibly be "McCann".
5 Surname is recorded as "Callauhan", but might possibly be "Callaghan"
or "Callahan".
