Ship Yorktown
I, Fred R. Meyer Master of the ship Yorktown do solemnly, sincerely and truly (omitted) that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York,is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said ship at (omitted) from which port said (omitted) has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants and Died on the Voyage. The destination for all passengers was U.S., no deaths were recorded on this voyage, and the Space Occupied for all passengers was "Between Decks"; these columns have been omitted from this transcription.

The transcription preserves the original spelling. The manifest did not include psgr #s; they have been added by the transcriber. All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated. The manifest scribe used long vertical lines to probably indicate continuation of the last written word(s). These lines have been replaced with the actual word/words indicated. The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have been transcribed to 'ss'. 8 2nd and 3rd letters of surname illegible. 13 2nd number of Age illegible. 39 3rd and last letters of surname not clear enough to decipher. 42 Most of surname illegible, could be Strone.
