Transcriber's Notes:
? A question mark indicates material that was indecipherable.
* An asterisk indicates further information may be found in the Passenger Notes.
^ A caret indicates superscript.
Spellings have been transcribed as found in the original, i.e. Cincinnaty.
The place name, Bohmen (Bohemia) has an umlauted "o."
11 Entry is puzzling because of the age given and then, if the ditto
sign indicating that this passenger's surname is Schmidt, the occupation,
Ropemaker and the different destination, Cincinnaty, don't jibe. I
wonder if the surname should be Adam, thus Johann Adam?
19 Damaged original; however the name may be Rescher or Tescher.
28-29 Place name has an umlauted "u."
33 Surname Vatsor or Katsor?
36 Age may be 14.
41 Surname looks like it may be Gusskopf or something similar.
42 Surname has an umlauted "o" thus may be spelled Koerner.
43 Surname has an umlauted "u" thus may be spelled Schuettler.
50 Surname has an umlauted "u" thus may be spelled Knopfmueller.
54 Surname has an umlauted "u" thus may be spelled Schmuetzer.
55 Note in far left margin says: American citizen.
85-87 Last letter of surname seems to be "s" thus the name would be Pits.
90-91 No ditto sign to indicate these two have the same surname as the
previous two passengers; however the origination and destination plus the
ages make it most likely that these are daughters of Martin and Catharine
Schwarz.
92-94 Damaged original has practically oblitereated the surname and age
for #92, and since the recorder for this list uses ditto signs for subsequent
entries #93 and #94 are indecipherable also; however, it looks like the surname
begins with an O or a C and the second or third letter appears below the line,
possibly a g, f, or p, etc. The occupation looks like it may be Cartwright.
121 Surname is crossed off and written over but illegible. Looks like
it may begin with an L.
