DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Jas M Jeffery, Master of the SS City of Washington, do solemnly,
sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest,
subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the
Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and
perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said Str
at Liverpool & Queenstown from which port said Str has now arrived;
and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the
occupation of each passenger, the part of the vessel occupied by each
during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the
country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and
that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said
passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of
those who died.

Queenstown. Burthen 2408 tons
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, Country to which they
severally belong, Country of which they intend to become inhabitants,
Died on voyage, Part of ship occupied by each during the voyage. No
deaths so that column has been eliminated. Also eliminated is the
column-Part of ship occupied by each passenger during the voyage-for
the first 125 passengers are shown in Main Steerage and the last
twenty (126 to 145) are Cabin Passengers.

Passenger #41, Edward Degan was out of QUEENSTOWN , IRELAND. He was
listed as a laborer from the U.S. His son is the Edward J. Degan that
founded and still retains ownership of Stuart Dean Company, Inc. If anyone
