Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that cannot be transcribed
  definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
  numbered in the original manifest.

"Male" and "Female" in the Sex column is shortened to "M" and "F" for formatting
  reasons.

2-6 Surname appears to be either "Egard" or "Edgard".
21 Surname appears to be either "Richmond" or "Richemond".
40 There are accute accent marks above the first and second "e" in given name
     "Desiree".
43-44 Surname is recorded as "Smidt", but might possibly be "Schmidt".

cannot be deciphered. Occupation is possibly "Sisters of Charity". The
transcriber substituted "Nun" for formatting reasons.
