So help me God, C. Hohorst
Sworn to this July 26, 1855, before me (signature unreadable).

indicates a letter or word that cannot be read due to the quality of the original document or handwriting of the original writer. Names are shown as listed, however a surname was used in the index for search purposes. This does not guarantee that the name in the index and the name as on the manifest list are the same because the transcriber
has no way of knowing if a step-child would be listed simply as daughter or son, without indicating change of surname. Allegiance column seems to have been used for the place they were planning to settle. Occupation of Economist at the time was the same as Farmer. Remarks column was used for baggage. The word habits is clearly written, but unknown meaning. At the bottom of the list, the word that is missing was cut off the microfilming. Died on voyage was deleted as only one passenger died and that is as noted in the columns and remarks. Part of the vessel occupied was listed as shown above, and also as a column at the far right. 1 First initial is either E or C. 2 The middle word in the baggage is unreadable, possibly apparel. 11 Surname is possibly Plisekke. 18 Surname and age are in a torn spot. 22 First letter of first name is badly blurred, possibly Caffo. 23 Transcriber has found Cotha as interchangeable with Gotha in some location lists. 24 Surname is Boechenger, Boerhenger, or Boethenger. Transcriber could not find a Kolmesdorf, but there is a Kolmdorf on some location lists. 25 Transcriber could not find a Kolmesdorf, but there is a Kolmdorf on some location lists. 27 Surname has an umlaut. 33 Occupation is Hat wright or Kat wright. 38 Missing letter is a straight midline upward, like an undotted i. 39- 42 Transcriber could not find a Kleinsterhan, but there is a Kleinster on some location lists. 51 Location of Munderberg has an umlaut. 53 Location of Ohnutz has an umlaut. 63 Location of Hustenberg has an umlaut. 102 The missing letters are a tall straight letter, followed by a midline straight undotted letter, possibly Culin without the dotted i. 114 Surname has an umlaut. 122 Missing letter is a midline slight curve, like the curved back of a small c, possibly Jac. 136 Surname is Boochers or Brochers. 141 Transcriber could not find a Oberthulhoven, but there is a Oberthul on some location lists. 144 Sex is male, but name is female (probably Elisabeth), and as a 46 year old without an occupation, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 146 Surname has an umlaut. Sex is male, but name is female (Anna), and as a 38 year old without an occupation, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 153 Transcriber could not find a Frauunvalde, but there is a Fraunwalde on some location lists. 154 Transcriber could not find a Krimnitzuhau, but there is a Krimnitz on some location lists. 156 Transcriber could not find a Krimnitzuhau, but there is a Krimnitz on some location lists. 164 Occupation is missing two unreadable letters, both are in the midline area. 169 Only one name was given, probably the surname. 181 Sex is male, but name is female (Victoria), and indicated as a wife, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 184 Only one name was given, appears to be a first name. 190 Last place of settlement is partially unclear, possibly Rimerstacide or Rimersuide, missing letter or letters are midline. 191 Surname is Voth or Koth. First letter of surname comes up with an arch that is difficult to discern intention. 192 Transcriber could not find a Schinvald, but there is a Schinwald on some location lists. 201 Sex is male, but name is female (Rose), and without an occupation, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 204 Sex is male, but name is female (Mari), this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 217 Surname is dark, possibly Rogger or Bogger. 226 Sex is female, but name is male (Franz), and as a carpenter, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 230 Surname begins with an upright letter like an A, but without the crossline; or like an upside-down V. 234-237 Torn areas of manifest deny any transcription of these words. 240-241 Both are listed as male, but names are female, and without an occupation, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 243 Sex is male, this is may be an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign, and the passenger below it is mislabeled in the same way. Researchers may find this child of either sex. 244 Sex is male, but name is female (Anna), and as a 25 year old without an occupation, this is probably an error on the manifest as it was indicated by ditto sign. 249 The occupation is very dark and hard to read, but possibly says Baker.
