* Occupations: Spelling is as shown. Schoemaker means shoemaker; Briklayer is
bricklayer; M Serv is maidservant; taylor is tailor.
* Location: Strumphelbrunn has umlauts over both u.
4 Surname is Beickler, Bieckler, or Buckler (with umlaut).
59 This family also appears to include passenger #66 though the spelling varies
slightly.
66 This passenger appears to be with family #59-65 though the spelling varies
slightly.
78- 79 Sexes of these two passengers appear to be transposed.
122 Either sex of f(emale) or "her son" is in error.
134 Philip the carpenter is undoubtely a male.
167 Franz is undoubtedly a son.
198 Her surname adds a 't' for Schwindt, though the people she is listed with are
Schwind.
Correspondence added July 30, 2007, passenger 118, Regina Strumpfler and 134, Philip Kupferschmitt
Comment by descendant:
Passengers #134-138 should have corrected surname of Kupferschmitt. Philip
Kupferschmitt married passenger #118, Regina Strumpfler, shortly after
arriving in New York. They settled in Brooklyn and had several children.
