I, James Borlund*, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Sandusky whereof I am Master, from Liverpool.

The manifest was very difficult to read because of the poor handwriting; further
research on any name in the manifest should be done.
The transcription preserves the original spelling.
Although the manifest scribe used vertical lines to indicate the probable continuation
of last written word(s), the use of the lines was inconsistent and only actual words

The manifest did not include psgr #s; they have been added by the transcriber.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these
