DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Capt Heiderick, Master of the Hamb. Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not numbered
in the original manifest. The recorder sometimes misspelled place names such as "Meklenburg",
"Pensilvania", "Milwakee", and "Minisota", but the words have been transcribed here as
recorded in the manifest. Sometimes the recorder uses popular abbreviations for given
name such as "Aug." for Auguste and "Joh" for Johann.

79 The city of origin I have listed as Halle because the last letters

and location within the ship are the same as the husband's, the manifest
had "Birth of Male Child" written across the origin and destination
            columns as shown.
136 Could be Gurzworski but letters very faint
