Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
numbered in the original manifest.
The manifest is in good condition and easily readable. However, the recorder's
handwriting is difficult to decipher because many letters are not carefully or
distinctly formed resulting in an uncertain transcription of names. Though done
with care, the resultant transcription is subject to errors and should be viewed
with some skepticism.
3 The last four letters of surname are too small and too poorly formed to
decipher with certainty, but surname might be "Bonanno".
4-6 Fourth and fifth letters of surname cannot be deciphered with certainty,
but the fourth appears to be "l". The fifth letter is too small to read.
5 Middle name begins with "Br", followed by two or three letters too small and
too poorly formed to decipher, followed by "ca".
7-9 Surname appears to be "D'Atano", but might possibly be "D'Ataro".
8 Middle name begins with "Nett", followed by two to four letters too small
and too poorly formed to decipher.
