I, Samuel Yeaton, do solemnly, sincerely and truly
Swear that the following List or Manifest of
Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered
by me to the Collector of Customs for the District of
New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and
belief a just and true account of all the Passengers
received on board the Ship Lady Franklin whereof I am
Master, from Liverpool.

All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual
words indicated.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading,
these have been transcribed to 'ss.
This manifest was difficult to read because of penmanship and fading of the ink.
Further research should be done to confirm any passenger information.
The upper right portion of the manifest pg 2 (psgr #s 43-93) has been torn off
and is missing.

3rd letter could be 'r' or 's'.
43 Manifest scribe entered England, '?(illegible) singer' is written above.
69 Last letter(s) of surname not clear, could be Tynarch or Tynard.
72 Ending of surname illegible.
74 2nd number of age illegible.
83 2nd number of age not clear, could be 30y or 37y.
86 Occupation could be a reference to King's Co(unty), place of Origin in Ireland.
88 Next-to-last letter of surname not clear, could be Toolasten or Toolastin.

164-165 Manifest scribe wrote the psgr numbers out of numerical order with #165
listed before #164. Transcription corrects the numbering.

If you find an ancestor on a ship on ISTG and would like to link to your email address or home page, please submit a short paragraph about the passenger, where settled, children, etc., with the name of the ship and date of arrival, and send to the transcriber at the bottom of the manifest or to the ISTG Production Coordinator.
