Transcriber's Notes:

Passengers were numbered by the Transcriber for ease of referencing.

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the
original recorder, not the transcriber, or is used
to call your attention to additional information in
   the transcriber's notes.

? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined
due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.

^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.

* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
   Danmark should probably be Denmark.

There was quite a bit of damage to the manifest. Missing information due to damage
is indicated by a series of dots. One dot does not represent one missing letter.

No deaths were recorded, therefore this coloumn was eliminated.
All passengers stated that their final destination was the United States, therefore
this coloumn was eliminated as well.

514: Math might stand for Matthew.
516: Zurich is spelled with u Umlaut.
519: the first name, Zarbe, is spelled with a Umlaut.
568: the last name is spelled with an accent on the u.
576: the last name, Schroder, is spelled with o Umlaut.
