I, Thomas F. Freeman do solemnly, sincerely and truly declare that the
following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now
delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York,
contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all
the Passengers received on board the Ship "Guy Mannering" of N. York whereof I am
Master, from Liverpool.

It could be Lounecy or Lorinicy, though these do not sound like names.
31 This passenger died July 24. The 2 was above the 4. Reason was difficult to read.
The "H" appears to be printed with the rest written out, very dark.
63 First letter of cause of death could be F or G.
100 Given name spelled Emiel on the manifest. Possibly should be Emilie.
115 Sex recorded as male though given name Pauline is female.
153-155 Surname could be Boyes, Boges or Bozes.
168 This name was written over several times making it very difficult to read.
Possibly Drayahan, Drayaham, Dragaham.

Lenke Family - Passengers 53 through 56
This family is the ancestral family of the transcriber. The actual surname is
LINKE, later shortened to LINK. Michael was born 30 July 1797 and on 17 February
1829 married Caroline TUCHOLL, born about 1800. I found records of two children,
Pauline, born 1829 and August, born 17 July 1834 in Hammersitzke, Posen, Prussia.
The younger Caroline was a surprise. Unfortunately, there is no further record of
either Caroline and it is assumed that Pauline either married or died in Prussia.
Michael and August traveled to Wisconsin where they settled on a 120-acre farm in
Nekimi Township, a short distance from Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin. Four years
later, on 11 June 1858, August married Emilie (Amelia) THOM. For further information
about Emilie see the Ship Elida.
August and Emilie had seven children, the sixth, a daughter, was my grandmother,
Aleda Mathilda LINK. It was she who was named after the ship on which her mother
sailed.
August served in the Civil War, mustering out in August 1865 with the rank of corporal.
In later years he and Emilie moved to Oshkosh where he died 15 December 1922.
