It was near Trier, Prussia. Shortly after arriving in New Orleans, it is believed that they traveled up the Mississippi & Ohio Rivers to Cincinnati, OH. They settled in Camp Spring, KY, on the southern side of the Ohio from Cincinnati. They were cultivators and winemakers. They built stone houses, many of which are still lived in today.
