I, B Lammann, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear, that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all passengers received on board the Bark General Pacoby whereof I am Master, from Bremen, so help me God, sworn to the Ninth January 1855 before me (port authority signature)

 1-2    Stohr has an umlauted "o" so may be Stoehr.
 5      Friedlander has an umlauted "a" so may be Friedlaender.
 24-25  Surname looks like Strhr but may be Stehr or Stohr.
 31     Kochler has an umlauted "o" so name may be von Koechler.  She is also
        listed as being from the United States.
 52     Listed as being from the United States.
 65     Surname may be Bayus.
 76     Spat has an umlauted "a" so may be Spaet.
122-123 Fourth letter of surname unclear.  Name may be Schaarschmidt or Schnarschmidt.
128-129 Listed as being from the United States.
132     Listed as being from the United States. Surname may be Krake.
133     Name may be Krake.
134     Listed as being from the United States.
147-149 Surname may be Ferend.
164     Sager has an umlauted "a" so may be Saeger.
