Bremen, Germany to Baltimore, Maryland
16 September 1846
I, J Hohorst - Master of the Ship Favorite of Bremen do solemnly swear that the
annexed List contains to the best of my Knowledge and belief a just and true account
or Report of all the Passengers who have been taken on Board the said ship - at Bremen
or any other foreign port or at sea and brought in the said ship ????? into any District of the
US since her departure of the said port of Bremen.

* Names were transcribed as written regardless of spelling. Some names seem to be
spelled phonetically, i.e. Zinzenati.
This manifest had quite a bit of damage. A series of dots shows that the information
could not be read due to damage.
1: the name cannot be read due to a damaged manifest.
2: ditto marks show that the last name is the same as # 1.
4 - 11: Surname could be Ficher.
11: the first name cannot be read due to damage to the manifest.
12: Surname could be Kese of Kise.
Weber is the German word for weaver.
15 & 16: the place of origin could be Pappenhof.
20: the last name, Muller, is spelled with u Umlaut.
21: nothing can be read due to a damaged manifest.
30 - 33: the last name could be Merdhard.
34 & 35: the last name could be Mardhard.
46 - 50: the last name could be Kanneberg.
57 - 59: the last name, Muller, is spelled with u Umlaut.
86 & 87: the names cannot be read due to a damaged manifest. Ditto marks show that
87 has the same last name as 86.
